Neerby app for iPhone and iPad

Neerby shows you who the people in your immediate vicinity are. You can create your own individual profile page with pictures and information about yourself. Neerby also offers a way to directly link your social media accounts. Dont worry: Not everyone gets to see your entire profile. You decide what strangers nearby are allowed to see. Just send a short message to the people around you to ask them if they want to join you.
To become visible to other users around you, your smartphone sends out small Bluetooth messages (range about 20 m) at regular intervals without noticeably affecting your battery level. Therefore, Neerby does not use your GPS location, i.e., to ensure more privacy Neerby does not see your exact GPS position.
To be visible for other users you must have installed Neerby and have activated your Bluetooth.
